The secret recipe for this ambrosia was discovered by Icecreams on the Isle of Tahitos, during his last ill-fated expedition in search of the New World. Fearing the wrath of the Mayor of Midgaard, whose financing of Icecreams expeditions had yet to pay off in gold, Icecreams brought back this recipe as consolation, knowing that the Mayor can not resist the taste of rum...err raisin! =) ~ E tangerine~ Far, far away, in the mysterious lands of Tangerine, Icecreams once wooed and won a beautiful maiden, the daughter of the King, and the fairest in the land. Tangerine sweet were her kisses, and bountiful her love for Icecreams. As token of her love, she gifted Icecreams the Mage with a delectable concoction of ice, cream, oranges and pineapple, fruits found only in one small orchard at the southern end of her lands. 'Eat of this gift', she told Icecreams, 'and you will see with fresh eyes, strange sights, and wonders that were once hidden to all but the Tangerine natives shall be revealed to you.' Icecreams ate, and saw that his love had spoken truth, for the veils dropped away from his eyes, and he saw all with new clarity. Turning in wonderment towards his maiden fair, he gasped in shock and horror, for he now saw her in a new light as well! Twenty feet tall, with platypus feet, warthog skin, and a walrous snout, she smiled at him and pleaded: 'Can you love me still, seeing me as I truly am, Icecreams?' And fortuanately, Icecreams didn't have to answer, cause his caravan was scheduled to leave Tangerine at dusk. ~ E ozyscroll~ One day, Icecreams' caravan was lost and almost dead of thirst, wandering the great desert north of Morocco. In despair, Icecreams ordered his caravan to rest, and wandered further ahead, in search of an oasis...but found instead a strange stone head, 60 feet high, all alone in the middle of the great desert....the last mortal temple of the King of Kings, Ozymandias. Crawling into the shade cast by the head, Icecreams slept, and dreamed a while: He dreamed that the head felt his need, and his wonder and awe, and that a mighty laugh shook the desert, and that the King of Kings, Ozymandias opened his stone eyes, and shrugged his mighty shoulders, buried under eons of sand, and thrust himself up out of his resting place, and walked the desert once more. And the stars above danced in delight as Ozymandias danced, and oases sprang up where he tread...and strange bushes, laded with blue fruit flowered and ripened. And Ozymandias reached up into the night sky, and chunks of ice hail fell thick and fast. Gathering up the blue fruit and the ice, Ozymandias spoke strange words over them, and lo! a new delight of the senses was born. And Icecreams dreamed that Ozymandias handed him this strange new food, a blueberry-french vanilla ice cream cone, and spoke thusly, 'This food will nourish you and your caravan, for days to come, till you are safely past my land...this is my gift to you, for your visit has pleased me..I have danced under the desert skies once again! And Icecreams awoke under the shade of the great stone head, a blueberry icecream cone in his hand. And the sun rose bright and white-hot, and the ice cream melted. ~ E thunderscroll~ While travelling through the lands of Ambrosia, Icecreams was told this tale by the natives: 'The Goddess of our lands is the Goddess, Thunder, a lady more fair and serene one could not find to worship. Our harvests are always bountiful, and our skies fair, our seas calm. But once it was not always this way....for the Goddess, though perfect in every other way, has one oddity...she can only speak in the voice of the waterfowl...*quack* *QUACK*! We understand this language, and love her for it. However, one day, long ago, a stranger came to this land, and hearing the Goddess speak, laughed tauntingly at her, and spit at her feet. The Goddess, unused to such scorn, flew into an impetous rage...her anger darkened the sky, and thunder rolled from the heavens, rocks fell from the mountains, and night fell, forever it seemed, across our land. For 10 days and 10 nights, the Goddess raged, then calming, she looked at the havoc she had wrought, and sorrowed, and thought deeply on how to restore our land to its former peace and happiness. She retired to her immortal lands, and spoke words of great magical power, and from the ruins of our land, a gift to the citizens of Ambrosia was created... On one side of the desk a piece of paper has been slipped in under the glass. It reads: This store was founded in 1994 under the care of Delanian. Soon Delanian saw what running a shop was really like and called his friend BaronKnight to help him. Together they ran the shop for quite some time. At this time the shop was but one room, and the backroom was at the far ends of a forest, hidden from normal passer-byers. After time Delanian and BaronKnight sort of faided away, nobody knowing exactly what happened to them. The deed was found in the hands of Universe Man one day, and taken from him by Garret. Once BarK heard of this he stepped forward to talk to Garret, letting him know that he was BaronKnight's son. After a lengthy talk they became partners in the shop. They decided that they would put a large amount of there own, hard earned money into the shop to get it fixed back up since thru the years things had gotten sort of run down. So teaming up with yet another person looking for a little bit of money, and wanting some excitement, they gathered enough money to make the shop into what you now know as "BarK & Garret's Wedding and Party Supplies" At this time the shop is mainly run by BarK, with the help of Laura, since that Garret is off on a long adventure to a far away land. When brought up you can see tears forming in the eyes of the other two owners, and they tell you that he will return in a few years. ~ S #3361 Madame "C"'s Shop of Round Things~ Peering through the entrance way, an ill lighted room greets your eyes. Dust is visible in the shafts of sunlight that peek through the curtains and the smell of mildew and other fragrances is just noticeable enough to be repulsive. Long, dusty, sullen shelves line the walls up to the low ceiling, littered with strange objects, all of them round, of course...You glance to the center of the rear wall and see a display case filled with more spherical paraphenalia. Leaning on this case is one of the ugliest women you've ever laid eyes upon.... must be Madame "C".....A round sign hulks against the wall. ~ 33 D 0 D0 A roundish opening leads north back out of here. ~ ~ 0 -1 3303 E sign~ Blame this shop on Grimlock, who wrote it. ~ S #3362 The Main Store Room~ This is the storage room for BarK & Garret's Wedding and Party Supplies.
